Housewife Reflections...Four Years Later

I was reading a post from a bloggy friend of mine, Aly at Cooking in Stilettos, and she's celebrating her four-year bloggiversary and it reminded me that, HEY, The Housewife Diaries has also been going strong for four years!  And wow, what a fan-fucking-tastic four years it's been (had to slip a little profanity in there, just for shiggles - that's shits and giggles to those of you who don't swear).

Anyway, so I thought, just for shiggles, that I'd reflect back on my blog posts in 2008.  I was still living in Las Vegas then and, although my blogs weren't as pretty, they were still pretty craptastic.  For those of you who've been reading these entire four years (are y'all crazy!?), this will be a trip down memory lane.  For those of you who are new-ish to The Housewife Diaries, this give you the opportunity to read some new (old) content, and hopefully make ya laugh!

Let's reflect...

In late 2008, I was busy taking classes for the Las Vegas citizen's police academy.  One of the perks?  I made cop friends -- no one can have too many cop friends; they watch over your house, teach you how to shoot a gun and, if you're lucky, they'll take you for a ride along during their shift.  I wrote about one of my ride alongs here.

One of my most favorite blog posts of all time, Movies I'm Embarrassed To Love.

The Hubs and I saw Kathy Griffin at Mandalay Bay over that summer on The Date Night Diaries...

One of the very first Conversations With The Hubs -- this series is one of my favorites.  In this one, The Hubs comes home smelling like fish...

I celebrated my 31st birthday that summer with a few of my girls from The Wolf Pack.

I took one of my proudest pictures at the Epicurean Affair...he's my uncle!  Really!  OK, not really...

Taking the whole family to Victoria's Secret is always an adventure.  Oh God, did I really post my new bra and underwear on my blog?  Yep, I did.

One of the best things about 2008?  I bought myself a beautiful pair of new boobs.  God bless my boobs -- it's been fours years and I still love them as much as the first day I met them.

To give you an idea of The Hub's sense of humor, he met a couple of Playboy Playmates that Spring and, instead of asking for the autographs signed to him, he had them signed...for our four-year-old son.  Sweet move, babe.

Annnnd, one of my VERY first blog posts ever *sniff*....a full rainbow in the desert -- very hard to come by, people!  (but what does it MEAN?!)
