Flapper Party - Updated!

Take a good look at this picture.

Yea, I'll give you a second.
-
This picture (which makes me laugh every time I look at it) pretty much sums up how Stephanie's (in white) bachelorette party went. Were all over each other, we look like total assholes, and we're laughing. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing here...maybe trying not to squish whomever I'm sitting on with my fat ass?

Heather and I decided at the last minute to get an upgrade on our suite.
-
It was upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2200 square foot, insanely beautiful penthouse suite with fab views of the strip. It was an incredible room....

We put beads, candles and chocolates all over, and the place looked pretty damn fancy by the time we were finished decorating.

The champagne started flowing at about 6pm and we, as a group, finished off TEN (yes, I said ten) bottles of it before we even left the room to hit the casino downstairs.

I spent most of my time during the party behind the bar, filling flutes and mixing shots. It's a tough job, I know.
-

We even had guests! Some random boys (I say boys because the younger one was 24 heehee) came and knocked on our door. They wanted us to "keep it down." Uh huh...you mean you want to come in?
-
Sure! Come on in. I took a couple of pictures and then we kicked them out a few minutes later because we had a sex toy party to pay attention to.
-
Ever been to a sex toy party before? You should go to one. They're fun. I have lots of pictures of the girls with various "objects"... but I'm not going to show you those. You'll just have to use your imagination.
-
Once that portion of the party was over, we put on our dancing shoes and hit the casino. Now this is where parts of the night start to blurrrrrrrr for me. I DO know we didn't even have to leave Mandalay! That casino is so fucking cool we stayed inside of it all night!
-
First we took the elevators up to the Foundation Room. We had a group shot, I kissed my hubby (who was there with business people) and we moved on to the next bar.
-
The best part of the night? The club Forty Deuce. Hands down. We walked by the door to the club, and made fast friends with the Director of VIP Services, Joel Grant. He kindly escorted us past the crowds of people to the very front of the stage... and gave us each a glass of champagne. Score! You're the best, Joel!

How do we look? We even got up ON the stage and danced to a song, but we were pretty sauced by that point and we're all surprised that no one fell off and broke a nail... or something more. They had a (stripper) pole at one end of the stage and even a pole that ran above our heads all the way around the stage! Lots of props to play with!

Check out the beaded curtain in the background. So hot! And dancers they had up on stage were amazing. Even the 'casual' dancer knew how to shake her ass better than any go-go girl I've ever seen.
-
In the pink picture you can see the burlesque dancer doing her thing- they brought out a sax player for her to dance to. It was such great entertainment, and the best dancing around.
-
If you come to Vegas, I strongly suggest visiting. You wont be sorry. Joel even promised me more champagne and free cover if I ever decide to bring people back...hint hint.
-
Want to see more of Forty Deuce? Watch this!
-
We spent the rest of the night at Rum Jungle. While I usually love this club (which now advertises NO cover!), it was pretty dead. The cage go-go girls weren't out, and the bartenders were ignoring us....maybe because we had had enough? Nah!
-
We returned to our room at about 4am. At least that's what the others tell me.
-
We awoke the next morning to lots of "where the hell did I get this?" bruises, sore feet, shit strewn all over the suite, and lots of giggly memories of the night.
-

This picture was taken on our way out of the room ... with a late check-out, mind you. Don't we look hot? Yea. We felt hot, too.

But the two-day long hangover was worth it. As I said before, I'm getting too old to walk around in cute heals until 4 in the morning. We agreed we'd do this again in about....a year.

Want to have a bachelorette party on the strip in Las Vegas? Give me a call, I'll help ya plan it.

Thanks to everyone at Mandalay Bay, and especially Joel Grant at Forty Deuce. We had an amazing time! And now Stephanie can get married with a clear conscience! Ha!

Whew! Big sign of relief! I was concerned with what would get put up here. You never even mentioned the lounge we went to (or did you forget). :-) My feet are STILL bruised! Good times, good times.

It was the BEST bachelorette party EVER!! Although I am scared to put on the cute shoes I wore that night, my feet will probably throw up all over them :) I have never had so many bruises on my feet! I am getting to old to stay out that late...oh well, it was FUN.
