Last weekend, we took advantage of it! After dropping the blissfully-excited kids off, the hubs and I had a quick lunch at the buffet and then saw Revolutionary Road.
Although it was a good movie, it was emotionally exhausting. There were some slow moments followed by lots of very intense, sad moments. Kate and Leo are exceptional together, no question about that.
This conversation with DH was very brief.
During one of the very tense scenes in the movie, I gulped down the lump in my throat and turned to DH to give him a look like (oh my god!), and he loudly whispers:
"Rose! Rose! Rose! Rosssssee! Rose!"
Get it?
I guess it snapped me out of the movie's moment, because I couldn't help but giggle. My husband does that to me.

Have you ever noticed how many times "Jack" says "Rose!" in the movie Titanic? Well... we have. It would be a good drinking game- drink every time Jack says "Rose!"
You'd be sloshed by the time the ship sank.

OMG, I am so watching Titanic tonight and playing that game!! We just watched it the other day and J had me rolling with his "commentary".
You are so right! He says Rose like a zillion times in that movie.
Hi!! Happy Friday! I was wondering if you've been to or heard of the Beer and Bloggers function. I went last night and there was such a good turnout and I had a blast. So, if you are ever interested, it's on Thursday nights at 6 p.m. at The Freakin Frog.
Lemme know! I'd love to meet you.
I think it is the only dialouge the last 45 minutes. I do love it though.
Have you seen Bunnies Theatre's 30-second Titanic? :)
Oh my god - did you see her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes? She was professing her love for Leo and she was totally freaking out about the award. It was sweet and genuine and stuff - but it sure did sound like she's in love for Leonardo Dicaprio for sure.
hahaha that's absolutely hilarious!! I also like your bar jokes, the dyslexic one is funny!
